Hand-Sewing Everyday Leather Goods
Saturday, October 12th, 9:30am-12:30pm
This entry level class is designed to introduce the classic techniques of hand-sewing with leather. Students will choose multiple projects (at least 2) from a wide variety of projects that demonstrate the basics of working with leather, including: cutting, punching, hand sewing, riveting, snap setting, finish and care. Students will be guided through the process from hide to finished product – leaving the class with their very own, handmade, leather product.
The materials fee is included in the overall price. Students who have previous experience hand-sewing may opt for a larger project such as a tote-bag or laptop case for an additional materials fee. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in a larger project
