Hand Sewing Leather 101 - Small Goods
Saturday, October 27th - 10am to 2pm
This entry level class is designed to introduce the classic techniques of hand-sewing with leather. Students can choose from projects that demonstrate the basics of working with leather including cutting, punching, hand sewing, riveting, snap setting, finishing and care.
Students will be guided through the process from hide to finished product – leaving the class with their very own handmade leather good.
No previous experience with any type of craft or sewing is required.
Students will be able to choose from a wide assortment of projects and leather at the beginning of class, including: Clutches, belts, coin purses, wallets, Fieldnote covers, phone cases, keychains, sunglasses cases and more
Tuition: $42 Members / $54 Non-members
