Westonka Community Ed (OCT): Hand Sewn Leather Bags: Market Tote or Bucket Bag (2 of 2)
NOTE: This class will be held on TWO Thursdays in October (22nd and 29th). Attending both sessions is recommended but not required.
Go beyond the basics - focus on precision and craftsmanship as you build a leather bag that will last for decades.
Whether you're new to hand-sewing or refining your technique, you'll leave with a finished piece, handmade entirely by you. Leather comes pre-cut, so the class stays focused on the craft - punching, stitching, and finishing.
You'll select your project and leather color in advance. All tools are provided.
Projects:
- Market Tote - An open-topped tote with leather handles and an interior pocket. Fits a 15" laptop and everything else you carry daily.
- Bucket Bag - A soft, rounded bag with a gathered top, cinch closure, and crossbody strap. A distinctive, functional everyday carry.
Leather Colors - Black, Natural, Greener Pastures, or Dark Brown
Thursday October 22nd & 29th - 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Westonka Activity Center - Conference Room
